Is Jack LaLanne Power Juicer a good/smart buy?

I have been debating over whether to “splurge” for the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Express for a while now…. I keep watching the infomercials and getting more sucked in lol…but anyway…I know that there are other juicers on the market that are cheaper… but the LaLanne one seems a little better. What is keeping me coming back is the no drop spout, the compact design, and the dry pulp thing. I am about quickness and no mess, and that’s what he seems to provide. I am just not sure if i should spend $99 for that or settle for a little less. Does anyone own this machine that could tell me more? And if you think a cheaper juicer would be the smarter option…could you reccomend a certian brand? Thanks!

Ive have the Juicemans juicer and have had an additional one.

I would recommend Jack LaLanenne but I do have to say “buyer beware”.

These things consume a lot of fruit for one drink, takes at least ten minutes to make your drink and an additional 10 to 15 for cleanup.

They are better at removing the pulp then a blender, but personally, I never use the juicer anymore and just stick to my high quality blender/food processor for making drinks/smoothies/shakes.
